What to look for

Check whether you need natural gas or LPG, and plan the flue position with your plumber.
Type: decide between gas or electric, and between storage and instantaneous, to suit your site and household.
Capacity and flow: match the litre capacity or flow rate to the number of people and bathrooms at your place.
Installation: hot water systems must be installed by a licensed plumber, so confirm the existing connections and compliance before ordering.
