Half Inset Basins

A half inset basin sits halfway into the vanity top, so it saves bench space while keeping the bowl easy to reach. Products in this category include ADP Australia, Kingsley, Decina and Caroma. Examples include Faith Semi Inset Basin, Crystal Slim Half Inset Basin and Novara. Product pages list the sizes and finishes so you can compare before you buy.
What to look for

Check the depth of the vanity top and the projection of the basin over the front edge.
Style of install: decide between above counter, undermount, semi-recessed or wall hung before choosing a vanity or bench.
Tap hole and overflow: check whether the basin has a tap hole and overflow, as this decides which mixer will fit.
Size: measure the bench or vanity top and leave room for the tapware and elbow space.
